Tec. Team can you help? March 2,2010
I have a truck that I just picked up. It will try to start but, it will not stay running. It did run for about two min. before we turned it off. This truck has been sitting for some time. It now has fresh gas.
1951 Chevrolet. 235 stock engine.
                                                                                                              Thanks, John

Tec.Team: John,
Have you checked to see if the carb is fluded? if the float gets stuck. To much fuel will be the problem. Also, Check your Electrical connections. In the past I have also, found that after all that Is stated above is checked. You can try and replace your Condensor. lets us know how it works out.
